"Heung Yau" is a Hong Kong local handmade incense brand founded in 2022.

We two college students who caught up with the last train of the post-90s generation and studied in the Department of Creative Media came into contact with Xiangdao by chance, and then started our "Journey of Finding Fragrance" in 2022 by mistake.

I remember one day when I was visiting the market, I was exposed to "smudging" (smudge method), only to find that the method of burning plants has become popular all over the world to relax and clear the body and mind. I also found that the culture of incense burning and incense Taoism has been developed for thousands of years, and Hong Kong was a place rich in incense products back then. However, while incense stick brands are available elsewhere, incense is still a niche activity here. Therefore, we use our small universe to integrate incense sticks with the concept of matching the times, and delve into traditional and new incense making methods, so that incense can be promoted in various places in a sustainable development direction.

It is hoped that in an era of prosperity and prosperity, a kind of pure nature will be integrated into people's lives.

Xiangqiu, named after Hong Kong, means a carefree small village surrounded by fragrance.

We hope that through pure natural herbs, we can produce various natural and harmless fragrance products that are beneficial to health and self-cultivation. Advocating ecological balance brings a moment of tranquility in people's lives and finds inner peace.

Hong Kong used to be famous for its agarwood. We deliberately selected artificially cultivated herbal plants as the production materials, advocating ecological balance and the inheritance of incense culture, so that natural incense can become a representative product of Hong Kong again.

We never thought that the handicraft of two people would become a small workshop and then develop into a studio.
