[Thuja Wood Strips] 60g | Raw Wood for Incense Making | Indoor Fragrance | Famous Chinese Wood
Thuja sutchuenensis, also known as the Thuja or Sichuan arborvitae, belongs to the genus Thuja of the Cupressaceae family. It is a relict evergreen tree from the Cretaceous period. It is primarily found in Sichuan and other areas of mainland China, growing at altitudes of approximately 1,400 meters. Currently, it has not been cultivated through artificial introduction. Approximately 10,000 Thuja sutchuenensis trees are found in Kaixian and Chengkou counties of Chongqing, China, and in the Xuebaoshan Nature Reserve.
Thuja contains natural ingredients such as cedrene and cedrol, which have antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties and promote blood circulation. Its aroma effectively purifies the air, eliminates bacteria and viruses, and has anti-inflammatory and detumescent properties. Furthermore, thuja essential oil is effective for treating insect bites and other swellings.
The aroma of Thuja thuja from the Taihang Mountains is sweet, and the sweetness increases with the quality of the material. Because it is a cypress, it also exudes a pine scent. Notably, the aroma of Thuja thuja from the Taihang Mountains is delicate and long-lasting, not pungent, and has a minty aroma.
The Thuja wood sold at Xiangqiu is sourced from Chongqing and Sichuan. The wood is dry and has a strong, sweet woody aroma. We recommend lighting it before bed or while relaxing, or placing it by your bedside to help you relax and relieve stress.
